  Firewire capture

  I’m using Studio 2 and a Sony DSR-1500. Problems with going into the capture mode, slow to initialize, slow to respond, sometimes a reboot helps. Any thoughts?

  Bob,

  Check your cables and fittings. If that doesn’t help, trash prefs. Also make sure the deck is set to DV and plugged in and on before you boot up everything else.
