  FCP and Avid CONFLICT?

  Having to buy an Avid Xpress Pro to facilitate a project… I’m an old Avid editor, but for the last 5 years have been only FCP. Already have 3 Mac Pro towers with FCP 6… wondering if I install Avid Xpress HD w/SDI Mojo on one of my systems that have FCP on, could there be any potential conflicts? Will I have to buy a new Mac to be safe?

  Not sure if it was ever addressed, but there was a bad conflict having Avid codecs on an FCP system recently.

  I believe the solution for that one was to have two Startup Disks on your system. One for FCP and one for Avid.
