  No video, only audio in Print To Video on FCP

  Hey everybody, I have this problem where I cannot playback anything onto my Sony GV-D1000 from FCP. I’ll try to list the details.

  fps: 29.97
  connected through Firewire NTSC
  audio: 16bit

  I think everything is matched up correctly, and I’ve tried Print to Video, Edit to Tape and recording straight from the timeline. Every way I do it, I only get audio, and there is no video. Just black.

  Anyone know the fix for this?
