  media managed projects

  i have a TON of media managed projects that were created in FCP5. When i open them in FCP6 it shows that everything is there and everything is rendered but will show unrendered on screen. when i go to rerender it it renders in .0 sec, but still shows unrendered during playback.

  any ideas?

  Dunno for sure but try hunting down and trashing the thumbnail cache. That red screen is in that file. Trashing the file sometimes forces FCP to rebuild the thumbnails and all the red screens get replaced with new references.

  Hope you get better advice, too.
