    Hi all,

I’m about to do an online from Digibeta at a facility.
I need to take the online footage and transfer it onto my laptop in order to do the colouring & sound mixing at home.

The facility will be onlining through sdi on the decklink card (not sure which one) and I’m just making 100% sure that I’ll be able to play the footage if I download and install the decklink codecs on my system?

Also, is digibeta 8bit or 10bit for the uncompressed files?

    Thanks in advance.

    Dave

PS I’ll be playing back off a FW800 drive, will 8bit/10bit uncompressed (1 stream) play back ok? If not, it’s not the end of the world as I can do export as movies to check the film I guess.

Currently working on ‘Lookin’ For Lucky’ – Feature Film for Albino Injun Productions.

    1 stream should be fine.

I always work in 10-bit regardless, but 8-bit would also work.
