Anyone having issues taking someone’s vo, converting it to aiff 48/16 in compressor, and AFTER editing it into FCP timeline and doing a render…you go back and the audio is either missing, 5 seconds off, or just generally f’d up?
I HAVE. What’s the problem? Is it my audio filters? I use limit/compressor usually…Everything is strangely fixed if I replace the vo with the same exact vo…this makes no sense to me.

The vo is from a windows machine…so there may be a cause, but I assumed compressor would fix any diffs…

OH YEAH…Another issue w/compressor. Anyone having problems with files being cut off at the end? Like the last 5 seconds of the clip are just not there?

This may not be your issue…but
If you are runing Compresor 3.0.1 AND you have installed
QuickTIme 7.2, when upsampling audio with that combination
    your audio will be truncated.
However, if you use QuickTime Player 7.2 to export and upsample, your file length will not be changed.

Got the same issue here (having the last 5 seconds cut off an audio file). We’re running Compressor 3.0.1 and QT 7.2 as well. We can work around the problem, but it looks like we’ll be waiting for an update.
