I have encountered a very strange bug in FCP 6… The Smoothcam filter has totally disappeared as an option, and FCP keeps telling me that it’s disappeared and that it can’t apply the filter (I already had applied it to a clip when it was working).

What could be causing this? I have had to install and reinstall FCP multiple times now, and I’d like to just find a way to put in the Smoothcam filter…

But bottom line I would be happy to do anyhthing if it solved the problem.

So please, if you have any thoughts, I would love to hear…

I have t posted a new thread on the subject.

I lost smoothcam as a result of installing Shake, which itself has the original SmoothCam filter. I am sure it’s related, but I don’t know what to do.

Have you found a solution? I can’t render a big client’s project now, and there is a lot of smoothcam in it on the aerial shots.

    Any info would help.

PS Do you have Shake installed?

I don’t have Shake installed, but I just did a complete reinstall. I mean COMPLETE. I reinstalled OS X and then FSC 2. I first just reinstalled FSC 2, but had issues again. When I reinstalled the OS, and then FSC 2, the issues are gone.
