Clips have gone red in browser and timeline
Well, two of four clips icons have tinted themselves red in the browser. This also affects the timeline the same way. Things seem to be operating properly but I’m hesitant to continue untill I get this figured out. I’m running FCP 5.0.4 on OSX 10.4.10.

In your browser the clips are red or in the canvas, or the clip in the timeline?
There are solutions for all cases.

Dump your thumbnail cache and you should be good…

Right click or control click on the clips and change the label from red to none.

It was the label, somthing I never use.

Ah – see when you said red, I thought you meant the “Media Offline” red… good catch, Jeremy
