    hello Boys!
HOPE I Can get some genius feedback. I am cutting FCP 8-bit footage and have 2 freeze frames happening. On the computer monitor the freeze frames are great, clean and do not jitter. They look good. But when I master a DVD in DVD studio pro, and watch on the television, the freeze frames have scan lines and jitter. I already set the dvd inspector to bottom first for fields cleaning up the jitter throughout the video, but these freeze frames still have scan lines and jitter. Is this a deinterlacing issue?????
Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!

YUP…deinterlacing issue. If you are working with interlaced footage then when you make a FREEZE FRAME, you need to add the de-interlace filter.

Another GREAT example of why an external NTSC monitor or TV is a requirement when editing…so you can see what you REALLY have going on in your cut.
