Export as H.264 – Why the Different Quality?
I know this is old news, but I still never found a good answer. Everytime I export as with H.264, my video always looks Brighter, washed-out, and the colors are sometimes misinterpreted. When you watch it on a PC it’s even worse (which I’m aware of the gamma issues between PC and MAC), but that’s no excuse for a MAC to make it look bad as well.
So, what was the solution to this?
I made a filter in FCP (oversaturate and darken) that will be applied to the Final video (in a new Sequence). This is kind of a work around I found, but it’s not accurate. You could also use QT Pro’s Filter, which are clunky and not very helpful. Are any of these workflows useful? or am I doing something wrong?
