  OT: The DigiGods have smiled on me

  With the dismantling of one of our linear edit suites I have inherited a Digibeta machine for my FCP suite. That means no more patching through the machine room to a shared digital deck across the office, no more having to ask if I can use a digital deck, no more long walks to change digital tapes and no more working around our smoke editor’s schedule. It’s the dawn of a new era in my suite.
