FCP and Decklink HD Pro ‘edit-to-tape’ audio problem
Hopefully a Decklink guru may know what’s going on here:
Trying to assemble edit to a DVW-A500 via SDI and embedded audio. After recording, picture looks fine, but the audio has a ‘gritty’ texture when playing back (also via SDI embedded). Sounds almost like mis-matched sample-rates (media is uncompressed 10-bit NTSC, 16bit, 48Khz audio.
However, if use the “print-to-tape” function via the same signal path, everything sounds great. Huh???
Anyone experienced this whacky behavior before?
FCP 5.14
Decklink 6.3 drivers
NTSC reference via Tektronix SGThanks,
