    I exported my project using compressor….Im using the Mpeg 2 settings (Best Quality) when its finished compressing, when I open the file, theres no audio attached, nor can I find it…..The sequence in FCP has two channels of audio….any thoughts????
    Im trying to author the DVD in DVD SP

    Are you using FCP 5 or 6? They bot work slightly differently, but in both cases you must choose audio export as well, preferably AC3 for most cases. Did you do that?

    Im using FCP 5 and no, I did not do an audio export seperately….how do you do this using compressor??

    When you look in the folder for the MPEG2 preset you chose, there will also be one for aiff audio and one for ac3. Choose the ac3 in addition to the MPEG2 next time and Compressor will do both for you as a batch. This time you can just go back and select the ac3 audio only inside the proper preset folder.

    Audio and video are separate files for DVD production. In Compressor you choose either aiff or AC3 as David says.
