  Exporting to Compressor in the same batch

  HI everyone,

  Our studio just started upgrading to FCPS2 this week, and we are trying to solve an issue that is effecting our work flow.

  We basically have a single sequence that will have multiple clips (Video,slate, Voice Over, Music, and fades to and from black). In previous versions, we could set an in and out point around these, send it to compressor, and it would be added at the end of the list. In Compressor 3, it now gets added as a new job in a new batch every time FCP sends something to Compressor.

  I need to now if there is a way to force it into the same batch.

  I haven’t found a way to create batches in FCP that would be any less time intensive than dealing with multiple batches in Compressor.

  With nearly 200 clips that need to be created this way in a matter of hours by each of our editors, we need to find a workaround to this that is conducive to these time constraints.

  Any help would be appreciated. Hopefully my description of the problem was adequate.
