OSX 10.4.10 compatibility
Posted by Brian Tetamore on July 23, 2007 at 5:46 pmAnyone have any info on the latest OSX 10.4.10 update? Is it stable? Does it actually bring more stability?
(I know. Don’t upgrade if things are working.)
Happy editing –

July 23, 2007 at 11:27 pmOSX 10.4.10 has not been a problem for me but QT 7.2 is.
In particular if you use Flip4Mac export from FCP for WMV creation.
This headlines their forums:“Latest News: Export users – Please refrain updating to QT 7.2 if you haven’t yet – 7-12-07”
https://forum.flip4mac.com/forum/messageview.aspx?catid=10&threadid=263&enterthread=y
Either they will come up with a fix or Apple will, we are waiting.
(I have another issue with sample rate converion in Compressor 3.0.1
after updating to QT 7.2, but that’s for another thread) -

July 24, 2007 at 1:24 am10.4.10 will only potently be a problem on a Intel Core 2 Duo machine, it is perfectly fine on all others.
