    Hi there,

there is someone aksing me for a ‘FULL HD’ clip (PAL).

Can someone suggest propper project settings to me?

What about … 1920×1080, quad pixels, 25 fps?

And what are the right export settings to get a propper WMV clip?

Best would be to get the HD acceleration of the latest nvidia/ati driver … unfortunatly I do not have such a brand new modell to test this feature …

Yes, he probably means 1080 25i. There should be some presets in the WMV encoder that should be enough to get you started. Since this is going to be an offline project anyways, it seems, feel free to crank up the data rates.

I would try exporting the Video as some sort of lossless format. Then open up in Windows Media Encoder. Around 9-10mbps Windows Media Video 9. And Either Two pass CBR or VBR.

And if Interlacing is needed. Just on the Processing tab, hit maintain interlacing. If PAL, then top fiela first. I assume if your fluent with AE you’ll do fine with Windows Media Encoder.
