Trim Tool bug in FCP 6?
I am cutting a feature in FCP 6 at a post facility. I am having a reoccurring problem with the trim tool. About half the time I open the trim tool it malfunctions.
when I click to add or subtract a frame it will jump to a totally different frame in the viewer. I have noticed that the frame it jumps to is on the same clip as the one I was trimming. Sometimes as far as 10 seconds 17 frames away. when I go back to the sequence the trim tool appeared to work just fine, but I can’t see the edits durring trimming because the viewer jumped to that random frame. I have fcp 4.5 at home and have never encountered this problem before.
I am guessing that it is a bug with fcp 6 and wanted to see if anyone else has ran into this problem or if there is something I am missing.

I’ve done a lot of short form and long form with fcp 6.
The trimmer has not caused any problems I have seen.
