  Has anyone running FCP 4.5 updated to 10.4.10?

  I’m having trouble with FCP 4.5 recognizing my firewire DV deck after updating from 10.3.9 to 10.4.8. Since none of the known remedies are working, a suggestion to is update to 10.4.10. Has anyone encountered problems with FCP 4.5 in doing this?

  FCP4.5 plays best with 10.3.9 and QT 6.5.

  i dont know what sort of problems you get when you break the magic spell,
  but i know going back will be hard.

  i seem to recall other people having the DV device not recognised thing.
  maybe do a search?

  I have trashed both the receipts and plist. That was last week. I’ve tried every suggestion I could find on this and the Apple FCP forum. I’m willing to try any other suggestion you may have, though.
