Can material shot as 25p, say from an PAL standard HVX 200, be re-jiggered to play and be edited in a 24p project in FCP understanding that the footage will be slowed down about 4%.

We have a lot of footage that will be shot at 24p as we are aiming for a filmout release print and want to see how crazy it would be to mix in 25p footage into that project.

Anyone have experience with this? How bad is the pitched down sound?

    Thanks in advance.

You could do a test in Cinema Tools to see if it’s acceptable.
