  Keycodes and Timecodes in Cinema Tools

  HI all,
  I’m working on a film right now and having some timecode issues…

  Here’s what i’m working with…
  It’s a 35mm shoot telecined to DVPAL for offline editing. We have Keycodes and Flex files. The tapes all have timecode breaks… which i think are because of a ‘free run telecine’ method. (i think. it’s possible that the telecine technician was drunk and has no idea what he’s doing)

  so my question is… can i dub the tapes to have a continuous time code. or will that create problems with the Flex files?

  Are you finishing on film? Also, do you have burn in keycode and timecode on your tapes?
