• Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy

  Having trouble getting picture from my AJ-HD1400 via firewire

  Hey,

  I am trying to setup my AJ-HD1400 with final cut via firewire. I have deck control but i am getting no picture in the preview window. Is anyone else having trouble connecting decks? Any ideas?

  You have to set your video to all frames, then reselect your HD easy setup.

  Also, make sure you no other fw devices connected to your mac.

  You can have FW drives connected, just not other media devices via Firewire. We have FW800 drives connected to my system at all times and they have never interfered with our 1400.

  I am with jeremy on this on,
  I only recommend one “intelligent” device {decks, cameras} per FW bus and nothing else

  and for everyone else –
  “if you did not add one there is only 1 chipset/ bus per computer”.
