  interlace problem?

  Hey…Ive got a DCR-TRV103 Sony Digital Video Cam.
  And I’ve seen on several occasions, the top…maybe 10 pizels flickers a little.
  Sometimes it’s there…sometimes it’s not.
  Is this a Interlacing problem? I don’t know….
  Can anyone tell me what this is….and how to fix it?

  Most likely they are tracking and compression errors due to poor quality of the tapes you are possibly using. Could also simply be a mechanical problem in the camera – even minute discrepancies in the tape transport would cause errors.

  I’ll try buying a better quality tape. The One i was using after all, had been used and erased.
  So I’ll try that…see how it goes……if that doesnt fix it….i’ll get the camera looked at.
