  Upgrading to 5.1 won’t recognize firewire

  I just upgraded my wife to 5.1 and it won’t recognize the firewire.
  I trashed all 4.0, 4.5 and a recent 5.0 preference, but still won’t see the deck

  My wife is still runnning 5.0. I wanted to upgrade her, but I figured we should wait until after the baby is born. You never want to upgrade your wife in mid project.
