  Studio 2 conflict with Pro Tools

  Hi

  Yesterday I installed Studio 2 programmes onto our mac pro which has been successfully running ProTools 7.

  Today went to open up Pro Tools and it wont open. FCP, soundtrack pro, and other prgrammes that came with Studio 2 open perfectly.

  Has studio 2 taken over the drivers etc that were assigned to protools?

  Any help would be greatly appreciated. we’ve got some audio projects that need finishing urgently.

  any further info on this. i’m about to install fcs2 and have PT as well.

  We have managed to restore ProTools.

  Digidesign suggest on their website to update the prebind script. After trying everything else first, including a reinstall of protools, the prebind script worked.

  I did uninstall FCPS2, which i will reinstall on the w/e… will let you know how that goes.
