Difficult shot – tips?
Hi,
I’ve got a shot (see it here: https://www.alextaylor.org/images/Picture-1.png) that I need to remove an element from – the address on the awning in the background. The character standing in front of it has fairly wiry hair, so it’s going to be rather difficult.. the shot is static for the most part, with the occasional small move here and there. I’m not too worried about the stability of the shot since it’s fairly static, but my biggest concern is obviously figuring out the best way to remove that address. At the very end of the shot he walks out of the shot, so I have a clean shot I can work from.My ideas so far are to attempt to just key out the white of the address and replace it with green, but I have a feeling that will look really messy. I could also make a clean awning from the end of the shot, and put it over the rest of the shot, using a mask or paint around his head. What do you think is the best way of going about this shot? Any tips are much appreciated!
