  AUDIOMETER not registering during one frame at a time playback

  Hello,
  I am in the process of synching some audio using the merge clip function and have run into problems with my audio meter.

  The audio meter works fine during regular playback, but when I try to go one frame at a time the meter stops working. I tried this using songs in addition to my current audio clips, no matter what the audio format it still will not work. I also deleted preferences and I am still experiencing the same problem.

  Any help would be appreciated greatly,

  Turn audio scrubbing on — Shift-S

  Select all in your timeline (Apple-a) then hit option-apple-r to perform an audio mixdown.

  This will render a temporary single file that FCP should be able to track with the audio meters.
