  Is it possible to remove the 24p look to match 29.97 interlaced?

  I’m working on a 4 camera project. 3 cameras shot 29.97 interlaced, 1 camera mistakenly shot 24p. I’ve captured everything at standard NTSC 29.97 footage, but the 24p has the distinct look of progressive. Since this is a music based piece with lots of motion–anytime I cut to this 24p camera it sticks out like a sore thumb.

  Is it possible to apply some sort of effect to this 24p cameras footage to make in “blend-in” with the 29.97 interlaced footage? I hope there is a solution that does not include not using this camera at all.

  I appreciate your help.

  I believe you need the reshoot filter. Sorry, couldn’t resist…

  Nope. Might think about putting a heavy effect or something on that angle if you have to use it at all… But what’s done is done I’m afraid, and there’s not going to be any easy fix here at all.

  You will have an easier time going the opposite direction by changing the 29.97 to 24P.

  Consider using the FCP film plug in filters from Nattress.

  That’s a bummer. I wonder if anyone is trying to create such a filter….?
