  Hey Guys,

  I use AE 6.5 and was wondering how to make a layer where you could quickly replace the layer with another image and have it automatically have the same effects applied to it as the original image.

  When I download some tutorial files they are like this.

  Any help?

  File –> Replace footage or Alt+drag your footage onto the layer in the timeline you want to replace (layer must be selected first).
