  Install Final Cut Pro 4 in a new MacBook Pro with Aty Radeon x1600 PCIe

  Hi friends,

  I have install Final Cut PRO 4, in my new MacBook Pro Intel Processor and Aty Radeon X1600 PCIe.
  When i want to run Final Cut, it appears this configuration error:
  “This software requires certain hardware or software wich is missing: AGP Graphic Card”
  Does anybody know how i can change the configuration of the Final Cut or of the Aty Radeon to run Final cut software?
  It will be imposible because the version i have of Final Cut it`s an older one and it`s impossible to run in the new generation of MacBook?

  I don’t believe you can run FCP 4 in an Intel mac. I could be wrong, but I don’t believe it can run under Rosetta.

  You have to have FCP 5.1 or later to run on an Intel architecture. On the bright side, with FCP 4 you weren’t eligible for the crossgrade, so you didn’t really miss it. You need to buy an upgrade to FCS, which if you can wait a month or so for, I would. If you need it yesterday then obviously don’t wait for software that may come out at some point between now and June.
