  Again I am struggling with this odd size. Since I cannot export this size directly to m2v I am going to crop my picture and proxy them together in Watch Out…still I need to edit in this great big size.
  So I have cut my piece in a normal HDV 50i timeline. Now I want to see what it will look like with 3500*768, So i created a custom settings timeline….Here is wheere I am uncertain…please let me know if there is a better way…
  Frame size- 3488*768 (custom)
  Pixel Aspect Ratio- square
  Field Dominance- Upper
  Timebase- 25
  Quicktime video settings compressor: HDV 1080i50 (this is the one that I am not sure what use)

  Hi
  Since HDV is by definition an anamorphic non-square pixel codec it won’t work, I guess.
  I expect you will have to choose a codec that has no implied pixel dimensions.

  I think that if you open a sequence with the setting that you use for editing HDV and them you change the Frame Size should work.
  I think you can get a MPG2 with those dimension with Cleaner. The problem is how to play it later. I don’t think QT can do it.
