Hi, can someone tell me where to find the files needed for re-enabling MPEG-2 export from FCP that was removed in version 5? I tried exporting to MPEG-2 from Compressor, but it won’t let me scale to a resolution other than 720×480, and I need 640×448 and 640×512.

If you want to buy the component go to http://www.apple.com/quicktime

if you want to reinstall the component, it’s on the DVD Studio Pro Disk.

    Hi Saddler,
The QT MPG2 Export Component will give you even less choices for exporting MPG2 that Compressor. You can only export standard NTSC and PAL. With Cleaner you can set the size of your MPG2 out of those standard.
    Cheers,
    Rafael

Yeah, but for whatever reason it’s much faster.

Does anyone here used MegaPEG.X, and do you like it?
