  Plasma Gernades from HALO

  I want to make a spin off of HALO. I want to be able to throw plasma gernades and have them blow up. I have the plasma gernade effect, i just need the explosion. I dont want it to be your normal firey explosion, i want it to be like the one in the game. What should I do?

  YEAH, BUDDY! STICKIES!

  First, if you’re online, my gamertag is Winfrey.

  I’d start with Mr Mercury on a masked solid. Then apply Glow and animate the heck out of it. Setting the B color to that turquoise would help sell it.

  Maybe a couple 3D iterations of that would do the trick.

  Maybe just animating a lot of masks and using a lot of Gaussian Blur set to add.
