  BBC 3 and FCP 5.1.4 on G5 (PPC)

  I just upgraded my system to OS 10.4.8 and FCS 5.1.4. I remembered a thread from last January that said there were issues between BCC 3 and FCP 5.1.2, but was reassured by a post from Walter that said there was a patch to resolve the issue.

  Well, I went to the Boris website and the only patch I could find was “Continuum Complete 4.01 Update for Final Cut Pro 5.1 users only. This patch makes BCC 4.01 compatible with FCP 5.1.”

  So I called Boris Tech Support and was told there is no patch for BCC 3 and that I should buy BCC 4. (Which would require money that isn’t in the budget, of course. And I hadn’t remembered Walter’s mention of PPC vs. Intel issue, so I neglected to bring it up.)

  Anyway, which answer is correct: there is no patch for BCC 3? Or there is, but only on a PPC G5?

  If there is a patch for BBC 3/G5, it’s not on the Boris website anymore. If you happen to have it lying around, I would greatly appreciate it if you could send it my way.
