    soundtrack pro has many preloaded sound effects that you can modify to fit your needs. take at look at this tutorial:

    The best way I have found is to find a sound effect from your sound effects libary, Soudtracks Pro or online that is close to what you want and then either speed it up, slow it down or and an audio filter to it to get the excat sound you are looking for.

    I’ve used jet plane flyby’s, laster sound effects and many others.

    You need to experiment a bit.

    In addition to several dozen wooshes in STP there are hundreds on SFX sites like sounddogs.com.

    Also, Digital Heaven gives you a few to go along with whip pan.
