  Question about Frame Rate Converter in FCP 5

  Hello

  I’ve just captured some footage shot on a Varicam in 24p, and I used Frame Rate converter to convert the 59,94 footage to 23,98Fps.

  However I did notice that even with some of the 59,94 clips there was some sound sync issues.

  I’m wondering, in FCP 5.1, is it still necessary to capture at 59,98fps and then use Frame rate converter, or can the internal FCP tools do the trick?
