Importing from Soundtrak pro
I am getting a media offline message in FCP when I import the audio/video ile back from Sound Trak pro.
I edited a piece in FCP but to correct some high/low audio levels, I imported the audio/video file to SoundTrak Pro to normalize the audio and then import it back to Final Cut Pro. When I came back to Final Cut Pro it prompted me to reconnect the file again and when I found the file I know have a “Media Offline” message in Final Cut Pro. I am thinking I didn’t save it or retrieve it correctly. This is what I did:
In FCP, control-clicked the clip then sent it to Soundtrack Pro. I made the changes in Soundtrak Pro, saved it and then when back to Final Cut Pro where the audio/video file is white on the timeline and am seeing a red “media offline” screen in the right hand editing window. Is there any way to rectify this?
