Classes in Final Cut Pro
I have been seriously thinking about taking a FCP course somewhere in the bay area in the next few months, and my investigations have found a few places that offer certified FCP training courses. The one closest to me offers the 100, 200 and 300 classes, and after reading about them and evaluating my own experience with the program, I called to sign up for the 200 class. I was told that I need to take the 100 class or pass an exam that costs 175 dollars. These classes are not cheap, and at this point I am not interested in becoming a certified FCP trainer, but am hungry to learn more.
I am not really sure I want to pay 175 dollars on top of the 900 dollars the class costs to qualify for the 200 class. My fear is that if I take the 100 class I will be information that I already know.
I have been working with FCP since version 1, and have read manuals and a book (the name escapes me.) and would just hate to pay 900 bucks to sit and listen to someone tell me how to open the log and capture window. Any recommendations on classes, teachers, workshops would be greatly appreciated.
PS I watched Walter Biscardi’s travel mattes tutorials and had a great time walter! Feel like were old friends now. ha! Great tutorials. Any more in store?
