  advanced pulldown removal PROBLEM

  I shot 24pA on the dvx100a and captured using the advanced pulldown preset and my sequence setting is at 23.98. When I drop it into my timeline, there is a red render bar. I was told you shouldn’t have to render when you captured the way I did.
  I wanted to recapture in 29.97 and remove manually, but heard that will make it interlaced.
  Any suggestions or answers would be appreciated.

  BE sure to select the proper easy setup (Advanced pulldown removal) and then make a new sequence. Put your clips in to this new sequence. Blow away ‘sequence 1’.
