  Not able to open FCP Project File, just getting General Error message, please help

  Hi,

  I’m working on an incredibly time sensitive project, and I can’t open the project file that I had stored on my GRAID. I tried opening it from the drive and also on the desktop, but it just gives a message saying: General Error (41)

  That error is usually because the project is from a later ver of FCP than you’re running. 5.1.3 is compatible with 5.1.2 isn’t compatible with 5.1.1 and so on

  But is sounds like this is a project that has lived on this one computer the whole time?

  Try trashing your preferences.

  The obvious question:- Anything in the Autosave vault?
