I am working with a group of college students. I’d like to have incentives to give away as the semester’s projects start to get turned in for grades. I’m seeking After Effects logo items but I’d settle for Adobe logo goodies.

I’ve been looking around at Adobe, Cow store and NAB shop but I want more variety. Anyone got a link?

I have always been surprised by the lack of logo items for my favorite software and hardware. I’d love a After Effects or Photoshop t-shirt.

I hope someone knows of a place that has them – of course it will probably need to be adobe who makes them, unless they are willing to license the logos and branding to someone else.

Good idea. But, how about books instead? They may be more cost-effective and potentially more useful…

I have an After Effects tee-shirt I got from a previous employer so at least we know they do exist…however I think he said he got it at some kind of trade show so I don’t know an easy way to get your hands on one.

The books are only effective prizes if the students are actually interested n pursuing their studies. I’d rather give ’em something practical and, umm, fun.

I have a knit AE 5.5 beanie that I got for being a good sport at an AE show but I’ve never see anything for sale.

I got this link from the Adobe forums:

but it’s obviously a license-logo hack house. Nothing particulalry unique. But you can get a nice Adobe shirt or cap at a decent price.

As a part time job back in 2000, i used to demo new Adobe software, and went on the road with them for the Photoshop6 road show around our country. Adobe usually prints teeshirts for such events (well, back then they did at least, …everyone who came to one of their shows would get a free teeshirt). I think I have 2 photoshop teeshirt and an illustrator one (I don’t think i wore any of them outside of the shows though, they must be decaying in the bottom of a drawer somewhere…). Anyway, if you want logo material definitely contact the adobe head office for your region (not resellers, but the main office for the country or state), I would think they will be able to help you out. But as others have said, some good additional training books would probably be a better prize for your buddying artists.

    Goodluck,
