where can i find a AJA Kona 3 1080i25 easy setup
Im trying to capture footage that was shot on a varicam at 720p25 which my kona card tells me is coming in at 1080i25 but i dont have an easy setup for this and the easy setups i do have all expect me to use firewire
any ideas where i might find aditional AJA easy setups for download?Thanks

1080i/25 is PAL and yes, you should have Easy Setups for this if you installed the Kona software correctly. 1080i/25 DVCPro HD, 8bit and 10bit are all available via the Easy Setup.

if the Kona card is telling you that maybe the deck is set to output 1080 = is there a 720p indicator lit yup on the front of the deck? if not the deck is set to output 1080.
where are you looking for the easy set up? but first what version of the driver? the 720p25 easy set up is only in the latest builds of the K3 Drivers ( v3.1 or later)

Ive recently changed to a mac pro and to do so i downloaded the most recent driver (3.3) off the aja website but still only seem to have the final cut pro easy setups and not the AJA kona 3 ones. If I have installed it incorrectly which its starting to sound like is the best way to fix this by reinstalling or is there somewhere i can download the setups and drop them in to the “addditional easysetups folder” in the applications folder??

there is a little check box on that dialog box at startup that says “show all”
or use the settings within FCP.

I un-installed and re-installed the AJA software as per AJAs advice (very helpful guys!) and all the easy setups have appeared.
Now i can see and hear my footage which is coming in 1080i25 embedded audio, on my monitor but when i try to capture using a DVCPRO HD 1080i50 compression and 10 bit digitser i get a general error!
Im digitising onto an internal drive is this perhaps to slow to deal with the media or have i still got issues with my easy setup?thanks for all the help
