So thanks for the previous info. The majority of my problems ceared up once I got another firewire card on the computer. However I am still experiencing the following problem.

I recently did a 2 camera shoot, both cameras running side by side simultaneously. Both cameras were paused and started at the sametime. Both camera tapes have the same amount of TC breaks. Both tapes made a new clip the same amount of times. The only difference is that on one tape, towards the end of the tape, the tape is missing footage at the end of several takes. A minute or so in some cases. So, I think, the deck must be capturing the footage, always seeing the same breaks, but somehow disregarding some of the footage. This is only occuring when I use this deck. When I capture with my camera, I do not experience any of these problems. I am using a DSR11 deck.
    Any Thoughts.

These kind of things can usually be attributed to differences in the head alignment between any two units.

…and is a great reason to log and capture instead of trying to rip in all of your footage at once and let FCP sort it out.
