i’ve been searching but i can’t seem to find any answers…so i figured i’d start at the source

basically i have a 14 minute video…i export the video out so i can make a dvd
i use either toast or idvd right now….(never had a problem)

but for some reason i keep getting a ton of little greenish pinkish digital hits…

this ever happen to anyone ?

could i have done something wrong ?

    i’m using fcp 4.5 hd and mac g-5 3 gb’s

If the source video is clean then it’s the compression that’s making a mess of things. Try using Compressor (it comes with FCP so should be on your HD somewhere).

Use one of the high quality presets. Toast can make a fully operational DVD Discs from the MPEG2 and Audio files you get from Compressor.
