Greetings, I have a project where i have taken clips from an HVR-z1 and downconverted to letterbox DV. Is it possible to take the finished movie (which is DV letterbox) and use Streamclip and convert it into DV 16:9? Or would the best solution is to recapture the media using the “squeeze” downconvert, which will be native 16:9? I ask because I found out the project needs to be 16: 9 and it is almost finished in letterbox.
    thanks for the info

For best quality reidig to 16×9. Resizing your letterboxed video would look pretty gruesome.

Recapture. The quality drop from reformatting your letterboxed sequence will be horrendous. Use the media manager to copy the project, making the media off-line and recapture. Make sure you back up your exsisting project and project files – Media manager can be a lttle tricky.
