Final cut wont startup, when i setted a second scrath disk…HELP
Hallo,
I just bought & installed the full Final cut pro studio. Succesfull installed: it said.
BUT when final cut loads untill it normaly has to open, it doesnt.
All the rest like motion,Dvdpro opens sepretly with succes. But final cut doesnt at all.I had final cut pro installed(not studio) a while ago(like a month ago), and it had the same problem.
I remember i setted my External HD(Conceptronic with usb, 150 gigs)as a second scrath disk. And all off the sudden it dint work anymore.
I dont think it has anything to do with the ExHD cause i worked with it several times, when it was set tho the only scratch disk.Im trying everything here!Restart, reinstall, open with ExHd on/off,…
BUT maby that error(or whatever), kept some files on my mac, and maby thats why it doesnt work now?
All other Apps like After Effects works normal.
Using a:
g5 intel quad core 2gigs and had never any problems with it.Any help appriciaded!

Trash your preferences and see if a new project will open. Search the Cow or Google if you don’t know how to do thet. Then try opening your current project. And, for the record, a USB drive does not have required sustained speed for reliable video playback, thoiugh its probably not causing your startup issue.
