Can you please be more specific?

Slowing MUSIC… in pitch and tempo?

What have you tried so far?

This is not actually a function of most video editors.

It is a complex audio effect that will cause severe audio artifacts as you change how the music is resampled.

If you use GarageBand music loops, or the supplied sound effect loops that come with Soundtrack Pro, you can simulate this with GB/STP by exporting an end audio sequence several times at slower and slower tempo settings then editing these together in short bits, with a good helping of reverb for the final grind to a halt.

You can do this in FCP by slicing the clip up and making each chunk a different speed. The speed and pitch will change. I don’t hear any artifacts. Once the clips are all sliced up you should be able to do roll edits to tweak the amount of time between each pitch change. Obviously the more the better. Most likely if you do it in 5 or 10% increments and do it on a drum beat it’ll sound smoother.

Execution of the whole process is about 45 seconds. Slice, speed change, next. Works great.
