  preparing images FCP 16×9 ratio

  I need help with preparing images in photoshop for 1080i and 720p. They to be single layer. Prepared as a static shot not pan and zoom. I am using FCP 5.1 and it seems to be excepting photos differently. I think it is the HDV but do not for sure and how to solve the problem.

  What versions of HDV are you using? Is it in fact HDV that you are rendering out to or are you eventually going uncompressed?

  If you have used the photoshop presets (HDV 720 or 1080) for the size of pictures that you want to bring to FC, dont forget set your pixel aspect in the FC to widescreen, otherwise FC will think that they are square pixels and wont fit properly in your HD canvas.
