  Anamorphic export not working?

  Can anyone please help me?

  I’ve edited a project shot in 16:9. Capture into FCP is fine and all plays fine in the timeline. When I’ve exported edit clips and then imported them back into the same project, some are 4:3 and most are correctly formated 16:9. I’m exporting them as NTSC anamorphic. Can anyone help please?

  Scroll to the right in your browser and put a check mark in the anamorphic column, FCP has a hard time discerning if the clip is anamorphic or not if it is imported from an outside source. You usually have to tell FCP it’s an anamorphic clip, otherwise if it’s 720×480(486) it’ll think it’s 4:3 for good reason.
