When I view my video on my DVD recorder, some sounds (vocals) go missing. But when I view the video on my computer, everything’s fine. With the DVD recorder the background sounds are fine, music is fine, but the voices (recorded separately – in mono) are lost. The film is edited in Premiere Pro and transfered to After Effects where it’s rendered. I build my DVD with Encore.
To make sure, I re-captured the clip with the voices but the problem remains…
Has anyone already encountered a similar problem? What could possibly be the cause (and solution)?

Have you created a proper audio mix with all your stuff? The mono files need to be mixed to both stereo channels or they may become to low volume to be audible.
