HELP! After effects imported .SWF problem when boosting Ram to 3 GB
Hello Everyone! really need your help!
Really behind on rendering out some animation for this music clip and stumbled upon this bizaar problem! See if you have any ideas.
The other day i came upon the not enough ram problem, so boosted my system from 1 gig of ram to 3 gigs. After effects responded well after i changed the windows BIOS allowing programs to utilize more than 2 GIGS of RAM, however the imported .SWF files that ive used in the animation process are completely black! nothing but black! Now this is absolutely bizaar considering they are fine in macro media flash, and work fine viewing them through flash player, but will not work with after effects! So i took out a stick of ram to see if it would just work with 2 Gigs and it seems to work fine. However i really need to utilize the full processing power of three Gigs. (Also i cant swallow my pride in not using all the power i just bought damn it!)
Ive also tried changing graphics cards and updating drivers and no response, the same problem. Also mucking around in preferences doesn’t seem to do a thing either.
Really need some help with this! see what you can come up with, anything would be great 😀
Cheers – Tom
